EDEN HAZARD SET TO RETURN AGAINST ARSENAL

Eden Hazard is poised to make his return from a groin injury against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Chelsea forward has missed the last three matches with a groin injury sustained in the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on January 3.

The Belgium international trained with the squad for the first time since the injury on Friday and will resume full training this week

Hazard’s return to fitness will come as a major boost to Guus Hiddink ahead of the London derby against Arsene Wenger’s men.

The Blues will monitor Hazard closely this week and will not take any chances with his fitness despite the magnitude of Sunday’s clash.

Likewise, with Euro 2016 approaching, Hazard will be eager not to cause any lasting damage to his groin this week.

But if the forward comes through this week unscathed; then he is likely to be included in the squad to that travels to the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are in talks over a move for Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato.

The 26-year-old is emerging as a realistic target for the Blues this month as they look to bolster their striking options ahead of the transfer deadline.

The former AC Milan forward is keen on a switch to the Barclays Premier League and a move to London would suit the South American.
