Adidas unwilling to renew Arsenal ace £22m deal

Adidas has been sponsoring Mesut Ozil since his days as a Real Madrid player from 2013 but his lucrative contract is now coming to an end.  And Bild report Adidas have no plans of offering the 31-year-old an extension, with the decision thought to centre around concerns over his public image. His relationship with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has caused controversy in the past, leading to criticism from human rights groups. Ozil was pictured alongside Erdogan prior to the 2018 World Cup, after which he retired from international football, claiming he had been made a scapegoat for Germany's failure. Last summer he also made Erdogan best man at his wedding. Since then Ozil has been embroiled in a fresh row in China after criticising the nation's treatment of Uighur Muslims. As a result China cancelled the proposed broadcast of Arsenal vs Man City, and Ozil was also removed from the Chinese version of video game Pro Evolution Soccer 2020. Premier League Restart: Amazon Prime to stream all four Premier League games free-to-air in UK

Amazon Prime will stream the four Premier League games it has the rights to free of charge when football returns.  It means no membership will be required in order to watch the matches via the website. The news means there will be a total of 33 matches on free-to-air TV, including four to be shown on the BBC and 25 on Pick TV. All 92 of the remaining matches in the Premier League will be broadcast. In total Sky have the rights to 64 of them, BT has 20, and Amazon and the BBC four each. The final fixture list is yet to be decided, with exact timings and dates set to be published at some point this week. One thing that does appear set in stone is the return of the division on June 17, with Manchester City taking on Arsenal and Aston Villa hosting Sheffield United as all four teams fulfill their games in hand. It will be intriguing to see the viewing figures of each match from now until the end of the season, with every game played behind closed doors as a result of the coronavirus pandem
