Zenit keen on Pellegrini

Pellegrini
Manuel Pellegrini could be handed an immediate return to management by Zenit St Petersburg.
Pellegrini is expected to be replaced by Pep Guardiola in the summer and the Spaniard has confirmed he is quitting Bayern Munich to come to the Premier League.

Guardiola’s move to England has alerted Zenit and the Russian champions are looking for a successor to Andre Villas-Boas.

Villas-Boas has fallen out with Zenit after leading them to the title last season and the former Chelsea and Tottenham boss has announced he will quit when his contract expires this summer.
Ambitious Zenit, who face Benfica in the last 16 of the Champions League, want a big-name coach to replace Villas-Boas and Pellegrini fits their profile.
